Job Summary
Own and evolve the shared Python development framework while partnering with traders and quants to deliver new trading software and optimize existing systems. Drive key projects from inception through analysis, design, implementation, and delivery, providing Tier 2 support as needed. Complete an 8-week training program in Hong Kong under the guidance of an experienced mentor, with work directly impacting production trading and market activities.
Required Qualifications
- A final year student or recent graduate with a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or any other related disciplines with a strong emphasis on programming
- Demonstrable development experience in Python, preferably from significant academic project work, open source contributions or professional work experience
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems
- Motivation to work as part of a team as well as independently
- Excellent communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- A passion for financial markets or working in a proprietary trading company (detailed knowledge and experience is NOT required)
