Job Summary
Under the direction of an RN Preceptor, perform delegated nursing care activities, conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering biophysical, psychosocial, and cultural needs, and develop realistic family education plans. Process physician orders, document care accurately, and collaborate with physicians and team members to evaluate nursing delivery. Participate in monthly virtual residency sessions over twelve months to enhance clinical skills and professional confidence. Work night shifts on the Med/Surg Unit with a sign-on bonus of $7,500 and access to up to $5,250 in annual tuition coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Eligible to practice as determined by State Board of Nursing
- One year experience or less working as an RN
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- FUTURE - Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) within 90 days - American Heart Association (AHA)
- FUTURE - Registered Professional Nurse (RN) within 3 months of Official NCLEX Pass Date - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Official NCLEX Pass Letter - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- FUTURE - NCLEX results for Registered Nurses must be provided within three months of the graduation date - Pearson VUE
- FUTURE - NCLEX test date within 30 days - Pearson VUE
- WI Nursing Temporary Permit - State of Wisconsin
