Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in the Medical ICU using the nursing process within a technically complex environment. Precept new healthcare staff and model proficiency to support competency validation. Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care through evidence-based care models aligned with AACN standards. Complete a four-phased orientation based on AACN's ECCO resources, including simulation-based innovation and blocked learning, to transition from novice to expert. Maintain state licensure and relevant life support certifications while working a full-time day and night rotation schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification
- any relevant life support certification as determined at position level
- 6 months nursing (RN) experience
- This position is an onsite role
- This position does not offer a hybrid or remote option
- Day and Night Rotation shift availability
