Job Summary
Earn a nursing diploma or degree from an accredited institution before hire. Pass the NCLEX exam and obtain your Tennessee Nursing License within 120 days. Complete Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days. Acquire Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI), Advanced Life Support (ALS/ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and role-specific certifications such as CCRN, TNCC, or NRP within designated timeframes based on unit assignment.

- ONS Chemo/Immunotherapy certification
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification or Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification
- STABLE certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Care of the OB Patient certification
- Fetal Monitoring certification
