Job Summary
Earn a nursing diploma or degree from an accredited institution and pass the NCLEX exam within 120 days of hire to obtain a Tennessee nursing license. Complete Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days and acquire role-specific certifications such as Advanced Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, or Critical Care certification within 180 days depending on your unit assignment. Obtain additional credentials including Trauma Nursing Core Course, Oncology certification, or Neonatal Resuscitation Program training within one year as required for your specific department.
Required Qualifications

- Basic Arrhythmia certification

- Acute Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) certification or Progressive Critical Care Nursing (PCCN) certification
- ONS Chemo/Immunotherapy certification
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification or Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification
- STABLE certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Care of the OB Patient certification
- Fetal Monitoring certification
