Job Summary
Earn a nursing diploma or degree from an accredited institution and pass the NCLEX exam within 120 days of hire to receive your Tennessee Nursing License. Complete required certifications including Basic Life Support within 90 days, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention within 180 days, and role-specific credentials such as Advanced Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, or Critical Care certification based on unit assignment. Obtain additional certifications like ONS Chemo/Immunotherapy, Trauma Nursing Core Course, or Neonatal Resuscitation Program within one to two years depending on department placement.

- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification
- STABLE certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Care of the OB Patient certification
