Job Summary
Earn a nursing diploma or degree from an accredited institution and pass the NCLEX exam within 120 days of hire to obtain your Tennessee nursing license. Complete required internal certifications including Basic Life Support within 90 days, Non-Vullent Crisis Intervention within 180 days, and role-specific credentials such as Cardiac Telemetry, Advanced Life Support, or Pediatric Advanced Life Support depending on your unit assignment. Obtain Advanced Critical Care Nursing certification within two years or Oncology/Chemo certification within one year as applicable to your clinical area.

- ONS Chemo/Immunotherapy certification
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification or Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification
- STABLE certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Care of the OB Patient certification
- Fetal Monitoring certification
