Job Summary
Earn a nursing diploma or degree from an accredited institution and pass the NCLEX exam within 120 days of hire to obtain your Tennessee Nursing License. Complete required certifications including Basic Life Support within 90 days, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention within 180 days, and role-specific advanced skills such as ACLS, PALS, or CCRN depending on the unit assignment. Obtain ONS Chemo/Immunotherapy certification within one year for Oncology roles and Trauma Nursing Core Course or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course for ED positions. Secure Neonatal Resuscitation, Obstetrics, and Fetal Monitoring certifications within one year for relevant departments.
