Job Summary
Earn a nursing diploma or degree from an accredited institution and pass the NCLEX exam within 120 days of hire to obtain your Tennessee Nursing License. Complete required certifications including Basic Life Support within 90 days, and obtain Advanced Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, or Critical Care certifications within 180 days depending on your unit assignment. Secure Oncology, Trauma, or Emergency Department certifications within one year, or Obstetrics and Neonatal Resuscitation certifications as applicable to your specific role.
Required Qualifications

- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certification
- Basic Arrhythmia certification
- Advanced Life Support (ALS or ACLS) certification

- Acute Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) certification or Progressive Critical Care Nursing (PCCN) certification
- ONS Chemo/Immunotherapy certification
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification or Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification
- STABLE certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Care of the OB Patient certification
- Fetal Monitoring certification
