Job Summary
Earn a nursing diploma or degree from an accredited institution and pass the NCLEX exam within 120 days of hire to obtain your Tennessee Nursing License. Complete mandatory internal certifications including Basic Life Support within 90 days, Non-Vullent Crisis Intervention within 180 days, and role-specific credentials such as Advanced Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, or Trauma Nursing Core Course depending on your unit assignment. Obtain Acute Critical Care Nursing or Progressive Critical Care Nursing certification within two years and Oncology or Emergency Nursing credentials within one year as applicable.

- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification
- STABLE certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Care of the OB Patient certification
- Fetal Monitoring certification
