Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for acute and chronic respiratory patients on the expanding Pulmonary unit. Coordinate patient care activities for all assigned staff while maintaining standards of practice within organizational policies. Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with respiratory issues working closely with hospitalists, pulmonologists, and respiratory therapists. Shifts are full-time days from 7am to 7pm. This graduate nurse role offers growth opportunities within the clinical staff team at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing
- New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS Certification
- CDN (Certified Dialysis Certificate)
- ACLS and PALS Certification
- TNCC and ENPC Certifications
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification
- NRP
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Program
- NAT (Newborn Admission Team)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting
- 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions
- Advanced certification in field of specialty
