Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for acute and chronic respiratory patients on the Pulmonary unit. Coordinate patient care activities for all assigned staff while maintaining standards of practice within organizational policies. Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with acute and chronic respiratory issues working closely with hospitalists, pulmonologists, and respiratory therapists. Full-time days 7am-7pm. Sign-on bonus available. New graduates eligible with current Georgia RN licensure and BCLS. ACLS certification required within 180 days.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing
- New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS Certification
- TNCC and ENPC Certifications
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification
- PALS Certification
- NRP
- PreOp/PACU/ENDO/CSU/ARU - ACLS
- BLS
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting
- 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions
- Advanced certification in field of specialty
- CDN (Certified Dialysis Certificate)
- Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital
