Graduate Nurse - Cardiac Care Unit

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols while systematically evaluating the quality and effectiveness of practice. Establish effective relationships with patients and families to facilitate unique care plans, utilizing the nursing process to develop, implement, and evaluate intervention plans based on physical, functional, cultural, social, economic, developmental, spiritual, vocational, and leisure dimensions. Coordinate and collaborate with the inter-professional team and community members to assess needs, set goals, and provide compassionate, culturally sensitive care. Educate patients and families on measures that promote, maintain, and restore health, while fostering a healthy work environment by serving as a mentor and role model for nursing colleagues and students. Apply evidence-based practice and scientific knowledge to ensure care is delivered based on age-specific and clinical needs, maintaining constant alertness and safely performing point-of-care testing as assigned.
