Job Summary
Graduate Nurse in Allegheny General's 6A Stepdown Unit provides nursing care for high-acuity adult patients, performing nursing processes, clinical assessments, and care planning, coordinating with the multidisciplinary team from admission to discharge, and delivering patient and family education. Must hold PA RN licensure or an eligible multi-state license via eNLC or Temporary Practice Permit, be CPR certified, and comply with HIPAA and privacy policies; role involves rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
Required Qualifications
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance
- Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) or Temporary Practice Permit
- CPR certification
