Graduate Network Engineer - Voice/Video Center Engineering

Job Summary
Lead network build initiatives for Verizon's Voice and Video team by managing project schedules, coordinating with vendors, and resolving technical challenges. Execute engineering tasks including equipment configurations, database updates, power mapping, and creating Shopping Carts or Telephone Equipment Orders. Drive project milestones, conduct site surveys, and facilitate vendor relationships while ensuring pricing compliance and quality reviews. Manage Capacity Creation Requests and First Office Application projects, reporting status to stakeholders and maintaining communication with the Project Manager. Work in a hybrid role with 37.5 weekly hours, requiring a bachelor's degree and valid right to work in Ireland.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications or equivalent)
- To be considered for this role, applicants must already hold a valid right to work in Ireland

- The ability to work well with others (as a team) and individually (on your own projects) with a positive attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrable excellent problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of technical domains such as: SONET, DWDM, Long Haul Transport Systems, Backbone Routing/Switching, Physical Server Deployments, or Voice Switching platforms
- Familiarity with telecommunications equipment or network installations
- Proficiency in utilising AI tools to streamline technical research, documentation, and problem-solving
