Job Summary
Hybrid GME Specialist role based in Royal Oak, MI, overseeing Corewell Health East’s graduate medical education office. Responsible for accreditation activities (ACGME/CPME), program documentation, and compliance; manages recruitment, onboarding, and orientation processes for residents and fellows; develops and implements educational programming, data management, and reporting; serves as liaison with accrediting bodies, immigration counsel for visa matters (J-1/H-1b for residents/fellows), and collaborates with HR, legal, finance, and clinical departments. Leads program management duties, site visits, policy development, and continuous quality improvement initiatives; requires strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and privacy-conscious handling of confidential information; typically onsite 2-3 days per week with hybrid schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in healthcare, education, business or related field; or combination of education and significant medical education experience
- 5 years of recent progressive responsibility in an educational, medical, office or service environment
