Job Summary
Lead education strategy for GME across Regional Centers, ensuring ongoing compliance with ACGME accreditation standards. Partner with program directors to align curriculum, scholarly activity, and faculty development with organizational goals. Co-develop and co-teach research fundamentals curricula for residents while identifying champions to mentor scholarly work. Train staff and faculty to capture and track scholarly activity in New Innovations, building partnerships to integrate research into ongoing projects. Create faculty development resources and manage onboarding for adjunct and core faculty. Analyze ACGME survey data to design statewide professional development plans and deliver targeted trainings. Support growth of residency programs through outreach and collaboration, coordinating events and promoting programs to medical students.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree or equivalent in higher education, healthcare administration, public administration, or related field
- Six (6) years of program coordination/management/administration experience
- Persons must have proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
- Pre-employment screening (criminal background, drug testing, and/or education verification)
Desired Qualifications
- Doctoral degree
- Two (2) or more years of GME-specific coordination/management experience
- Certifications or professional involvement in TAGME (Training Administrators of Graduate Medical Education) or related bodies
- Experience developing/implementing curriculum
- Strong presentation and academic communication skills
- Higher education experience with faculty development
- Familiarity with research methods (qualitative/quantitative) and scholarly activity
- Proficiency with academic posters/presentations
- Experience in health care education research
