Graduate Land & Development Surveyor

Job Summary

Conduct research and valuations to identify residential development land opportunities and draft reports advising clients on cooperation agreements and planning matters. Coordinate documentation for tenders, carry out site viewings, and prepare presentations to promote the firm's services to landowners and developers. Maintain databases of development opportunities and comparable sales, manage the APC diary, and utilize the centralised HubSpot system. Support the two-year graduate development program while assisting with administrative tasks to ensure client files remain up to date.

Required Qualifications

  • 2:1 in a relevant, RICS accredited degree within Estate Management, Planning and Development or similar/equivalent
  • ongoing right to work in the UK without sponsorship
  • Passionate about Real Estate and Development
  • Awareness and understanding of issues affecting the economy
  • Strong IT skills, specifically with Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote & Outlook
  • Good interpersonal communication, both verbal and written

  • Experience in preparing presentations to both landowners and developers
  • Experience in promoting Bidwells' services
  • Experience in winning planning and development work for the firm
  • Experience in utilising and maintaining contacts on a centralised system
  • Experience in securing New Homes instructions and work for other divisions
  • Experience in maintaining an APC diary
  • Experience in undertaking all necessary work in connection with the APC timetable and requirements
  • Experience in providing administrative support to the team
  • Experience in ensuring relevant paperwork and client files are kept up to date
  • Experience in growing alongside a supportive team
  • Experience in receiving extensive assistance with the RICS APC
