Job Summary

Counsel and advise graduate students and families on financial aid availability, delivery processes, and reconciliation procedures. Review student applications, perform federal needs analysis, and verify information according to federal processes. Administer federal, state, and Northeastern-based financial assistance while conducting term audits to adjust aid and monitor academic progress. Intercede with School administrators, Student Accounts, Registrar, and Co-op departments to resolve issues. Represent the Financial Aid Office at Open Houses, meetings, and workshops to answer questions regarding the process. This role operates in a hybrid arrangement for a graduate student at Northeastern University.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams
  • Working knowledge of Outlook
  • Working knowledge of Word
  • Working knowledge of Excel
  • Experience working with non-traditional student populations and adult learners preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse student population
