Job Summary
Junior R&D Mechanical Design Engineer will contribute to regional ETO Engineering activities as part of a multi-disciplinary team on engineered-to-order projects for Chiller units. Responsibilities include designing ETO solutions focusing on mechanical aspects (sheet metal and piping), collaborating with suppliers and internal departments, creating and reviewing product documentation (CAD drawings, specifications, bills of materials), and ensuring cost, quality, environment, and time objectives. The role emphasizes solving technical problems, updating mechanical drawings from Production/Procurement/Logistics inputs to simplify assembly, reduce costs, and improve quality; requires strong CAD skills and attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- Technical Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
- Preferable but not mandatory at least 1 year of previous working experience in similar activities in Chiller or CRAC and HVAC sectors
- Good knowledge of 3D/2D CAD & PLM systems, Microsoft Office tools, particularly PTC Creo and Solid Edge
- Knowledge of technical drawings
- English – Intermediate level – Written and spoken
