Job Summary
Lead project purchasing activities by attending project meetings, defining sourcing plans, and managing Pre-SoCo, SoCo, and SOP milestones. Coordinate supplier bid-lists, identify critical parts, and review contingency plans while leveraging PuMa features to track supplier design reviews and acceptance. Execute RFQ processes via PuMa and auctions, propose lotting tactics, and manage contractual aspects to protect intellectual property. Pilot project purchasing indices, forecast productivity targets, and ensure timely sign-offs with stakeholders to achieve supply base securization and localization needs for global platforms.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Knowledge of automotive industry standards and practices
- Understanding of procurement and sourcing processes
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel as required
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
- Valid driver's license
