Job Summary
Design, configure, and test SCADA/HMI systems using platforms such as Movicon, CIMPLICITY, and iFIX. Develop and maintain reporting systems using SQL and scripting tools, while configuring communication protocols like Modbus, OPC, and Ethernet-based systems. Develop PLC programs using structured logic, function block diagrams, or ladder logic, and collaborate with electrical and instrumentation teams to ensure integration across project deliverables. Prepare technical documentation, perform system simulations, and recommend effective technical solutions. Support customer engagement activities and share knowledge within the team. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent experience, in Instrumentation, Electronics, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with SCADA, PLC, and HMI systems
- Understanding of industrial communication protocols and automation systems
- Ability to manage tasks independently while meeting timelines and quality expectations
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with metering systems (liquid or gas), including custody transfer applications
- Familiarity with flow computers such as S600+, OMNI, or equivalents
- Knowledge of metering standards such as AGA-7, AGA-8, or API
- Experience with batching systems and loading/unloading controllers
- Exposure to database management and scripting for SCADA systems
- Understanding of liquid proving, gas meter verification, and related processes
- Ability to contribute ideas for improving testing processes and system design
