Job Summary
Perform engineering research, calculations, and hydraulic/hydrology modeling for storm water collection systems and water resources studies. Produce design calculations, draft technical reports, and deliver presentations. Provide engineering design and construction services alongside field support under the supervision of project engineers and managers. Requires an EIT certification, Bachelor's degree in Engineering, and proficiency with CAD platforms like Microstation and Geopak. This role supports federal, state, and local municipality projects within RJN Group's sustainable collection system solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, standard CAD platforms such as Microstation, Geopak, and hydraulic modeling software
- Excellent communication skills; ability to convey information effectively; understand ideas and information presented in writing and verbally; including presentations
- Strong data analysis skills, technical problem solving ability, organizational skills and multitasking ability
- Self motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of task
- Engineer In Training (EIT) certified
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering or related discipline from an accredited institution
- Educational or internship experience within collection systems, water and wastewater design
