Job Summary
Graduate Engineer role focused on civil projects from planning through construction, contributing to design and development of project plans, specifications, and reports; responsibilities include construction observation as resident project representative, client and team communication, assisting in proposals and business development, and collaborating with project managers and senior engineers. Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil-3D and MicroStation/GeoPak is expected, with strong emphasis on design development, project documentation, and adherence to safety policies while working both independently and in teams; travel and possible overtime during construction season are anticipated.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering required
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certified, or ability to obtain certification within one year
- 5 Years of experience working as a Civil Engineer
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
- Must be detail oriented, self-motivated with strong interpersonal and organizational skills
