Job Summary
Graduate Engineer, Advisory role within AECOM’s Advisory team focusing on asset management, information management, and durability/design solutions. You’ll assist with development of business processes and change management for strategic asset management; participate in site inspections and condition assessments; develop material testing specifications; support durability design and performance-based approaches; contribute to asset-management documents (Asset Maintenance Plans, Lifecycle Plans, SAMP); help deliver strategic and technical advice to clients; and engage in maintenance, operational, and capital works program development. The program emphasizes essential consulting skills, networking, mentoring, flexible/hybrid work options, and opportunities to grow across Transport, Defence, and Water sectors. Essential attributes include strong communication and teamwork, an adaptable mindset, and integrity; applicants should have or be nearing a Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Civil or Materials Engineering with the ability to commence by Feb 2027 (or July 2027 for mid-year starts). Working rights to Australia or New Zealand are required; student/graduate visa holders are considered.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Materials Engineering (or in final year to graduate)
- Completion or imminent completion of studies prior to program start date
- Full working rights to work in Australia or New Zealand (student/graduate visas accepted)
