Job Summary
Support hardware, firmware, and embedded software requirements for low-power electronic systems and vision modules. Assist with design, development, and documentation of sub-assemblies while producing calculations, test records, and engineering reports. Contribute to design reviews, verification activities, and debugging using laboratory tools and development environments. Collaborate with PCB layout, manufacturing, and test teams to drive product delivery and continuous improvement. Gain structured technical development through mentoring and exposure to the full product lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- A degree, HND, or equivalent qualification in electronic engineering, embedded systems, or a related discipline
- A strong interest in electronic design, embedded systems, hardware development, and practical engineering problem solving
- Awareness of analogue and digital electronics, circuit design, schematic capture, PCB design principles, and electronic test methods
- Basic understanding of embedded software or scripting languages such as C, C++, Python, or similar
- Awareness of common hardware interfaces and communications protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, USB, Ethernet, CAN, or similar
- Ability to interpret technical requirements, produce clear documentation, and follow structured engineering processes
- Practical laboratory skills, including use of oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, signal generators, or similar test equipment
- Good analytical, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- A willingness to learn, take ownership of assigned tasks, and develop towards increasing technical responsibility
Desired Qualifications
- Exposure to design tools such as Altium, PSpice, Matlab/Simulink, FPGA design suites, or similar
