Job Summary
Graduate Design Engineer to develop and maintain crushing chambers for Terex Materials Processing products, provide engineered solutions for new and existing products, and produce full manufacturing specification packages (Engineering BOMs). Responsibilities include resolving root causes, managing engineering change processes, following design-for-manufacture and qualification standards, driving standardization, investigating customer complaints, and applying new technologies to stay current. Requires a Mechanical Engineering degree and 3D modelling experience, with strong communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
- 3D modelling experience
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Problem solving tool knowledge (8D preferred)
- Able to assess workload and commit to realistic timelines
- Able to select from multiple design alternatives when a clear best choice is not evident
- Able to investigate root cause of machinery non-performance
- Can identify risks technical and commercial with proposed product change or new product
