Job Summary
Deliver an incredible customer experience by assisting customers quickly, confidently, and accurately over the phone and email, representing the brand as warm, genuine, and knowledgeable. Handle inquiries ranging from setting up new accounts to identifying seasonal produce in the All-British Veg box, adhering to the Quality Framework and performance targets. Act as an ambassador for B Corp values by making decisions with social and environmental impact in mind. This fixed-term contract runs from October 5, 2026, to January 4, 2027, with full-time hours (37.5) available between 8am and 6pm, including rota-based weekend shifts and bank holidays. The role offers comprehensive training and collaboration across teams to gain a broader understanding of the business.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous customer service experience
- Basic IT skills
- You take great pride in your work and have high personal standards
- You're eager to learn, progress and make the most of every development opportunity
- You're a people person, able to build rapport quickly, collaborate with others, and have a positive 'can do' mindset
- You're a foodie and have an interest in what Abel & Cole stands for
- You will need to be available for the assessment morning
- Hours can be contracted between 8am – 6pm
- Weekend work is rota based, you'll be expected to work up to three weekend shifts in a month
- We are also open on Bank Holidays
