Graduate Civil Engineer; Public Works - Local Infrastructure

Job Summary
Collaborate with engineering teams to produce construction plans for municipal projects including roadways, storm drainage, pipelines, and civil site design. Use design software and drafting tools to create layouts and communicate calculations, while drafting reports and presenting plans to diverse audiences. Estimate construction costs and quantities, perform site visits, and review contractor submittals under the mentorship of Professional Engineers. This role is for December 2026 and May 2027 graduates encouraged to apply, with a Bachelor's or Master's in Civil Engineering required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering (December 2026 and May 2027 graduates encouraged to apply)
- Knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and tools
- Knowledge of the materials, methods, and equipment involved in the construction or repair of civil engineering related improvements
- Able to balance multiple and frequently conflicting objectives and make good decisions
- Technical experience in computer-assisted design (CAD), AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other design, modeling, data recording, and analyzation related software
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar productivity software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Extremely detail-oriented and accurate
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Background in roadway, drainage, and pipeline design is a plus
