Graduate Assistant Women's Soccer Coach

Job Summary
Assist the Head Coach to teach basic and advanced soccer skills during individual sessions, team practices, and strength and conditioning workouts. Develop and implement safe practice plans while creating comprehensive game strategies, including scouting reports and in-game adjustments. Coordinate administrative tasks such as team travel, scheduling, budget preparation, compliance, and fundraising to operate the intercollegiate program. Manage academic retention, graduation tracking, and public relations while ensuring adherence to NCCAA rules. Work 20 hours weekly across 12 months, reporting to the Athletic Director at Ohio Christian University's Maxwell Center.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Accepted to OCU Masters Program
- 2-4 years of playing/coaching soccer
- Successfully be able to pass all NCCAA and University requirements for employment
- Strong Christian commitment
- Adhere to the standards outlined in the OCU Community Lifestyle Statement
- Strong public speaking skills that connect with 18-22-year old athletes
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to successfully help recruit a full roster each season with mission fit student athletes
