Job Summary
Assist in supporting Ottawa University’s intercollegiate athletics communications: maintain statistical records using DakStats/Stat Crew, write and distribute athletic press releases and game statistics, manage student-athlete profiles and award nominations per conference/NAIA rules, design and maintain the OUAZ athletic website, oversee social media, produce and publish programs and video/photo content, supervise hiring/training of staff for home and selected road events, represent the University at NAIA/KCAC meetings, and assist with promotion strategies for home athletics events under the Director of Athletics Communications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Experience with DakStats and Stat Crew preferred
- Ability to write/edit press releases
- Knowledge of athletics communications
- Design and maintenance of athletic website
- Social media management
- Supervising and training staff for events
- Coordinate with coaches for nominations
- Understand NAIA/KCAC guidelines
