Job Summary
Graduate Research Assistant within the Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP) at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). The GRA supports the educational, research, and scholarly mission of the MSTP while pursuing combined MD/PhD training. Responsibilities include conducting independent and collaborative biomedical research across laboratory, translational, clinical, computational, and population health investigations; designing, executing, analyzing, and interpreting experiments; maintaining accurate records and study documentation; contributing to manuscript preparation, scientific publications, and grant-related activities; presenting findings at laboratory meetings and conferences; adhering to responsible conduct of research and regulatory compliance; completing required graduate coursework; participating in MSTP seminars, journal clubs, workshops, and recruitment events; collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and mentoring junior trainees; and performing other research-related duties as assigned.
