Job Summary
Conduct donor landscape research and analysis to identify potential funding opportunities. Review donor databases, prepare donor profiles, and collect and organize data while ensuring accuracy. Create donor maps, charts, and reports; identify fundraising trends, gaps, and opportunities; and develop reporting templates and process documentation. Collaborate with the Development team and may present findings and recommendations to senior management or stakeholders. This role supports the Development team at Emory University, located in Atlanta, GA.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student in a college or university offering a four-year degree
- Completion of freshman year or higher and in good academic standing
- Must be able to commute to The Carter Center on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs
- All non-exempt employees must reside within the state of Georgia
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer
Desired Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a graduate program, such as public administration, nonprofit management, business administration, or a related field
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Proficiency with data collection and management tools, such as Excel, Power BI, and CRM systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
