Job Summary

Develop and implement special events and programs addressing diversity, leadership development, and wellness needs in collaboration with the Resident Assistant team and student organizations. Coordinate room reservations, recruit and retain registered student groups, and co-coordinate the annual Student Engagement Awards Celebration. Provide guidance to the Student Union of Naropa and assist with co-curricular leadership programming. Support strategic planning for the Office of Campus and Residential Life, manage the Food Pantry, and participate in research and assessment activities. Function in the professional staff on-call rotation for the office. This 25% FTE position begins in the 2026/2027 academic year with a $20 hourly rate and a $3,000 scholarship. Candidates must be Naropa University graduate students in good standing who demonstrate an understanding of equity, access, and opportunity.

Required Qualifications

  • Naropa University graduate student in good academic and disciplinary standing with the University
  • High degree of emotional intelligence, critical thinking, and assertive communication skills
  • Ability to create and maintain a positive team environment and behave professionally with everyone encountered in the course and scope of the job duties
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Problem-solving acumen
  • Desire to help students be successful

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in student activities, programming and leadership development or residence life strongly preferred
  • Experience advising and/or supervising students and student staff preferred
