Job Summary
Manage athletic communications by writing and editing press releases, maintaining the athletic website, and producing graphics and video content. Oversee in-game statistics, organize photo and video shoots, and promote teams via social media while managing analytics reports. Assist in home event management and staff coordination under close observation. This 12-month renewable internship begins summer 2026 for full-time graduate students at Queens University of Charlotte, offering tuition remission and a stipend. The role prepares candidates for careers in organizations like the Carolina Panthers and USA Triathlon.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in communications, journalism, sport management or related area of study
- Must be a current, full-time graduate student at Queens University of Charlotte
- Strong communication, organization, writing, editing and design skills
- Experience using Mac and PC computers
- Working knowledge of social media platforms
- Strong follow‐up and follow‐through skills as well as ability to plan, organize and control projects through to completion
- Knowledge of Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, Audition)
Desired Qualifications
- Video/audio editing experience preferred, graphic design experience also preferred
- Photography skills are strongly encouraged
