Job Summary
Prepare and lodge monthly Business Activity Statements, PAYG obligations, and Chick Hatching/Egg Promotion Levy Returns in compliance with ATO and DAFF requirements. Process supplier invoices, creditor payments, and foreign currency transactions through ERP systems while reconciling daily customer receipts and investigating discrepancies. Undertake monthly bank reconciliations, prepare costing and variance reports for biological assets and operational expenses, and assist with month-end accounting, accruals, and audit support. Liaise with external auditors, financial institutions, and internal managers to coordinate accrual journals and provide advice on accounting procedures and cost control.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline
- Minimum two (2) year of relevant professional accounting experience
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and taxation compliance
- Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills

- Working towards CA/CPA qualification
