Job Summary
Lead day-to-day field operations on heavy highway and DOT projects from mobilization through completion; direct grading and earthwork activities, coordinate crews/equipment/daily work plans for production, safety, and schedule; collaborate with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and DOT representatives to drive field execution, monitor conditions and productivity, ensure DOT safety and quality standards, provide leadership to foremen and field crews, and manage large crews/equipment with a focus on safety and on-time delivery.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Senior Field Leader on heavy highway or DOT projects
- Proven experience leading heavy highway projects valued at $25M+
- Strong background in grading and earthwork operations; underground utility work is supported separately
- Required DOT experience with GDOT, SCDOT, NCDOT, VDOT, TxDOT, TDOT, or FDOT (Northern Florida)
