Job Summary
Conduct after-school care for Grades 1-8 students, ensuring smooth transitions between programs, managing supplies and budgets, and providing snacks and engaging activities. Supervise children at all times while maintaining a loving, secure environment and keeping accurate attendance records. Coordinate facility usage with other teachers, facilitate pick-up procedures, and foster a clean, tidy classroom ready for the next day. Communicate observations to fellow teachers and the Executive Director, commit to continuing education on Waldorf pedagogy, and participate in peer reviews and mentoring. Limit cell phone use to emergencies only.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with children in Grades 1-8
- Reliable and conscientious worker

- Commitment to diversity, equity, and social justice values in teaching practices
Desired Qualifications
- Completed or started Waldorf Teacher Training
