Job Summary
Develop and implement lessons promoting historical inquiry, critical thinking, and understanding of historical events, cultures, and civilizations. Design and administer formative and summative assessments to measure student progress, then analyze performance data to differentiate instruction and maximize achievement. Collaborate with grade-level teams and leadership to ensure curriculum alignment while maintaining a structured, respectful learning environment. Foster student engagement and intellectual curiosity through effective communication with students, families, and colleagues. Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiatives. Full-time annual appointment in Malden, Massachusetts, with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits. Reports to the Lower School Administration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Massachusetts teaching license or eligibility for licensure
