Job Summary
Operate Grader and other heavy equipment to maintain Ontario highways year-round. Join Ledcor Highways Ltd. (LHL) in various locations across Ontario as part of a union workforce. Responsibilities include operating a grader and other heavy equipment, performing winter and seasonal highway maintenance, and maintenance of equipment. Work will involve outdoor duties in all weather, travel between shops, and shift work that may include nights and on-call duties. Must have a minimum of 3 years of heavy equipment experience and hold a valid AZ or DZ license (air endorsement is not required but is an asset). Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience working with heavy equipment
- Valid AZ or DZ driver’s license (air endorsement not required but asset)
- Experience operating snowplow truck is an asset
- Highway maintenance experience is an asset
- Ability to travel between shops as needed
- Provide a copy of a 3-year driver’s abstract
