GRADE K-5 TEACHER

Plan, organize, and present instruction for K-5 students while managing instructional time, supervising teacher assistants, and maintaining classroom behavior through established rules. Deliver lessons by reviewing materials, introducing objectives, and using clear demonstrations to ensure high student engagement and timely transitions. Monitor student performance by circulating during work, providing prompt feedback on assignments, and using assessments to adjust objectives. Maintain accurate records of student progress, align instructional plans with system curricular goals, and treat all students, parents, and co-workers equitably. Adhere to school laws and policies, complete professional development, and carry out assigned non-instructional duties. North Carolina ESL K-12 licensure is preferred.
