Grade Foreman - Farmville, VA

Lead a grading crew to safely and efficiently perform mass earthwork and excavating activities, coordinating construction work according to priorities and plans. Organize daily responsibilities, produce schedules, and monitor attendance while allocating general tasks and determining aggregate material quantities and deliveries. Supervise the use of machinery and equipment, train workers and tradespeople, and ensure labor and resources are adequate. Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met, monitor expenditure within budget, and resolve problems as they arise. Report progress to managers and engineers. Full-time Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with potential overtime, weekend work, and overnight stays for out-of-area travel. Driver's license required.
