Job Summary
As a Grade Checker, you will ensure correct grading on construction projects, supporting heavy equipment operators in digging and filling to the proper depth. Responsibilities include performing basic lath and pin staking and any additional duties related to the job site. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in the construction industry and a high school diploma or GED, alongside the ability to understand safety instructions and follow directions. The role demands physical fitness to handle the labor requirements and regular attendance is necessary.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience within the construction industry
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic understanding of English to read and understand work instructions and safety information
- Must be able to follow directions
- Ability to meet physical demands of the job including walking, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting, sitting, squatting, and occasionally lifting and carrying items up to 25 pounds.
Additional Requirements
- Must be available for work 5am – 6pm Monday through Saturdays
