Job Summary
Conduct assessments and make diagnostic evaluations for behavioral health recipients while providing individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and education to persons served and families. Deliver direct case management services by coordinating activities with agencies and monitoring service utilization. Participate in the Person Centered Planning process and follow through with individual plans of service. Maintain regular documentation and ensure compliance with Transportation, Alcohol & Drug Testing, and Background Check policies. Support a recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, and culturally competent environment. Requires a Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling, relevant licensure, and at least one year of behavioral health experience.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work or Master in Professional Counseling
- Licensed or Limited Licensed Master Social Worker
- Licensed or Limited Licensed Professional Counselor
- Valid driver's license
- Demonstrated ability to utilize DSM V for diagnostic process
- Demonstrated knowledge of mental health treatment procedures applicable to public mental health populations
- Demonstrated knowledge of current and best practices within practice area
- At least one (1) year experience with behavioral health recipients
- Demonstrated ability working with Microsoft Office applications and Windows 10 programs
- Must pass Capac School background check
- Must have access to transportation
- Must qualify as QMHP, QIDP, or QCMHP, according to program assignment
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Must pass a five (5) panel drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- Fully Licensed Master Social Worker or Fully Licensed Master Level Licensed Professional Counselor
- At least three (3) years' experience in area of expertise
- Demonstration of proficiency and experience working on an electronic health record system
- Lived experience with behavioral health issues
