Job Summary
Grade 5 Teacher to cover a parental leave (Sept–mid-Dec 2026–2027) in a co-teaching team at Meadowbrook School, Weston, MA. The role focuses on fifth-grade instruction with emphasis on reading and writing workshop, Singapore Math, and social studies, while supporting social-emotional development. The educator will collaborate with two other teachers, contribute to curriculum development and technology integration, and foster a culturally competent, inclusive classroom. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication and relationship-building skills and a commitment to lifelong learning and professional growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree (Master's degree preferred)
- At least two years teaching experience (preferred)
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a team/co-teaching environment
- Experience with Singapore Math (preferred)
- Experience with managing performance-based groups for reading and math (preferred)
- Annualized salary range is $64,960 - $100,000+ and prorated for the length of leave cover
