Grade 5

Elementary Teacher (Grade 5) responsible for designing and delivering instruction for designated content areas in an elementary school for the 2026-27 school year. Designs and implements instruction aligned with state standards and district curriculum; creates a positive educational climate promoting respect and rapport; delivers relevant, rigorous lessons to maximize student engagement and achievement; employs diverse teaching practices to meet students' diverse backgrounds; observes and evaluates student performance, maintains grades and attendance, and uses data to inform instruction; manages classroom behavior with effective strategies; communicates with parents and district staff regarding student progress; ensures health and safety of students and protects school property; maintains confidential records and completes required certifications and professional development hours; performs other duties as assigned. Certifications/Certificates: Florida Professional Educator Certificate in Elementary. Skills include understanding of state standards, curriculum planning, classroom management, assessment/data-driven instruction, parent communication, using technology (Microsoft Office), and ability to work with diverse student populations.
