Job Summary
Grade 5 ELA Elementary Teacher responsible for planning and delivering instruction aligned to state standards and district curriculum. Designs and implements engaging lessons, fosters a positive classroom environment, utilizes diverse teaching practices to meet students’ needs, monitors student progress and maintains accurate grades and attendance, manages behavior, communicates with parents and district staff, and ensures health and safety, confidentiality of records, and ongoing professional development. Required to hold a Florida Professional Educator Certificate in Elementary and maintain certifications as mandated. The role emphasizes evidence-based instruction, assessment of student mastery, and collaboration with families and colleagues.
