Job Summary
Grade 4 teacher provides a developmentally appropriate educational program for students in Grade 4, supervising students in the classroom and other areas, developing lesson plans and delivering instruction within established curriculum guidelines, collaborating with other teachers, professionals, and administrators to improve instruction, and engaging parents/guardians in conversations about instructional programs and student progress. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining an effective learning environment, managing student behavior, participating in professional development, assessing progress, collecting data to inform planning, providing feedback to students, parents, and administration, holding parent conferences, teaching English language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, and an anti-bullying curriculum, preparing daily lessons, ensuring consistent attendance, providing targeted interventions to close gaps, and participating in faculty meetings; requires Bachelor’s Degree and a valid MA DESE license, with strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
