Job Summary
Grade 4 Long Term Teacher Substitute provides a developmentally appropriate elementary program for Grade 4 students. Responsibilities include planning and delivering instruction within established curriculum; creating and maintaining a safe, engaging classroom environment; collaborating with colleagues and administrators to improve instruction; conducting student assessments and collecting progress data; providing feedback to students, parents, and administration; holding fall and spring parent conferences; delivering instruction in ELA, mathematics, science, social studies, and an anti-bullying curriculum; and participating in professional development and faculty meetings. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree and Massachusetts DESE license; Master’s Degree in Education is desirable. The role emphasizes timely attendance and willingness to perform other duties as needed.

- A valid license from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
