Job Summary
Plan, prepare, and deliver daily lessons in core subject areas (reading, writing, math, science, social studies) for grades 2–5, aligning instruction with district and South Carolina state standards. Differentiate lessons to meet diverse learning needs, assess student progress, and foster students’ social-emotional and academic growth. Collaborate with grade-level teams and special education staff; communicate progress to students, families, and administrators; integrate technology and hands-on activities; manage behavior with proactive strategies; provide support for struggling learners; participate in professional development and school events to promote a culture of curiosity, critical thinking, and respect.
Required Qualifications
- South Carolina certification in Elementary Education (Grades 2-6)
- Experience with differentiated instruction and inclusive teaching practices
- Familiar with educational technology tools
- Strong classroom management skills and a growth-oriented mindset
